WGC-Cadillac Championship Final Round

Welcome to coverage of the Final Round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral in Miami. We are set for another dramatic final round in the Florida Swing and I am here to guide you through an entertaining evening of world class golf.

1834 - Dustin Johnson eagles the first hole to get to -2 and 2 behind the third round leader Patrick Reed. Tiger Woods tees off shortly and is 3 behind.

1836 - 2-time WGC winner Hunter Mahan finds a fairway bunker off the first tee, Tiger misses the same bunker on the right and is in the rough with an apparently difficult stance.

1839 - Rory McIlroy is -1 through the first six holes and 2-over for the championship, six behind and has unleashed a 355-yard drive at the 7th. If Rory can get himself under by the 11th he may be in contention for his first WGC title.

1843 - Jamie Donaldson produces a superb up and down on the 1st to make birdie and move to -2, 2 off the lead.

1845 - Bubba Watson, runner-up in 2012, birdies the 4th and is now just 4 off the lead and two off second place. If Reed makes a shaky start we could have a sensational final round on our hands.

1848 - The leader Reed and Jason Dufner find the fairway off the first, Tiger has about 12 feet for birdie at the first hole.

1852 - Woods' putt misses on the right and he pars the first.

1856 - There are SEVEN players under par for the championship right now, this is what a World Golf Championship should be, like a Major.

1902 - Patrick Reed plays a delightful pitch to the first and should make birdie to extend his lead.

1903 - Jason Dufner makes birdie and moves to -3.

1904 - Reed makes birdie and is -5.

1904 - Reed finds sand off the tee at the second.

1909 - Reed's second shot from sand comes up short left of the second green, faces a difficult up and down.

1910 - Tiger finds water at the third with his second shot and is clearly struggling with his back and his game.

1915 - Patrick Reed makes bogey at the second, this is the current leaderboard:

Reed -4
Dufner -3
D. Johnson -2
Z. Johnson -2
Donaldson -2
Mahan -2
Kuchar -1
Woods PAR
Rose PAR
Gallacher PAR
McDowell PAR
Watson PAR

Others
Mickelson +1
McIlroy +3

1924 - Reed's second at the third finds the back edge of the green.

1927 - Tiger fails to get up and down from sand at the fourth and makes another bogey, falls to +1

1929 - Reed rolls the putt from over 20 feet into the hole and returns to -5, 2 clear of Dufner and 6 clear of Tiger.

1931 - Dufner makes a terrible mess of the third and makes bogey, Reed now leads by three.

1932 - The fourth hole could be pivotal, Reed plays a superb shot to around 16 feet and has a putt for another birdie.

1933 - Kuchar birdies the 8th and is also now -2.

1934 - Dufner finds water at the fourth and the PGA Champion is falling apart.

1940 - Reed birdies the fourth and has a four shot lead.

1948 - Dustin Johnson birdies the 8th to cut the lead to 3.

1949 - Matt Kuchar makes double-bogey at the 9th and falls to even par, 6 behind.

1951 - Tiger is clearly in some discomfort, this dreadful season is continuing in Miami for the world number one.

2030 - Reed pushes his second shot well right into sand at 8.

2031 - It looks like being a poor weekend for Rory McIlroy again as he bogeys 14 to fall 10 behind Reed.

2038 - Reed makes par at the 8th and is in total control of the championship, but so many times this year already we have seen back nine horrors for the leader.

2041 - The chasing pack are falling apart and we only have FIVE players under par.

2042 - Hunter Mahan finds the water off the tee on 10 and it is looking like we will only have four players under par shortly, 3 shots separate 13 players behind Reed, who is four clear.

2048 - Jamie Donaldson makes a birdie at the 10th and ties Dustin Johnson for second place at -2.

2051 - Patrick Reed pars the 9th and has a four shot lead heading into the back nine of the second World Golf Championship of 2014.

2053 - Reed misses the 10th fairway well right and in the rough but avoids sand and water, if he does that for the next nine holes he will win by miles.

2106 - Reed makes par at the 10th and remains four clear.

2112 - FOUR players under par, this must be a record for a WGC since they came into being in 1999.

2115 - Patrick Reed's second shot finds the back bunker on 11 after a flier out of the left rough, tough up and down from there.

2116 - Dustin Johnson bogeys the par three 13th and Jamie Donaldson is now alone in second place. Reed could stumble over the line and win now surely.

2120 - Rory McIlroy bogeys the 18th and finishes the week at 5-over-par, 11 off the lead, a bad weekend for the Ulsterman.

2121 - Patrick Reed makes a superb par at the 11th and remains 6-under. Bubba Watson birdies the 15th to reach -2.

2123 - Reed unleashes a 330 yard drive at the 12th, he could have such a big lead that the dangers of the closing stretch are irrelevant.

2129 - Huge sand save at the 13th for Jamie Donaldson and he stays at -2, four behind.

2138 - Donaldson hits a superb second at the 14th and has a good look at birdie.

2139 - Bubba birdies the 16th to close to within 3 of Reed.

2143 - Jamie Donaldson holes his putt at 14 and now we have two players three back of Reed, the leader is in trouble at 13.

2144 - Watson pars 17 and is on the 18th tee, a birdie here would see him post a stiff 4-under target.

2146 - Reed pars the 13th and remains three clear.

2149 - Reed's drive on 14 is left but avoids the sand and is in the rough which is still quite sparse.

2156 - Reed's second shot on 14 flies through the back of the green, Donaldson is in good position at 16 .

2157 - Watson is well right on 18 after his second shot, has taken a free drop after hitting the grandstand.

2159 - The LA Open champion plays a superb pitch and has a putt to post -3 in the clubhouse, Reed faces a very difficult up and down at 14 to avoid coming back to -5.

2200 - Another magnificent pitch from Patrick Reed and he is putting on some show at Doral.

2202 - Par for Bubba at 18 and he sets the target, Reed can drop two shots and still win.

2203 - Reed makes his first big error in a few days and he falls to -5, leads by two from Jamie Donaldson and Bubba Watson with four to play.

2204 - Reed boards the intimidating par three 15th, the championship is on the line, a bad shot here and it is wide open.

2205 - The American pushes his tee shot into the bunker, this is another remarkable finish on a Sunday in #EPIC2014

2210 - Magnificent bunker shot from Patrick Reed and he makes par at 15.

2216 - Jamie Donaldson birdies the 17th after a superb approach to inside a foot, Reed lays up on 16 but finds sand and has 118 yards for his second shot.

2217 - Reed finds the back edge of the 16th green with his second shot, his lead is down to 1.

2218 - Donaldson boards the 18th tee, he has won in Abu Dhabi and the Irish Open, a birdie here could very well win him the WGC-Cadillac Championship.

2219 - The Welshman finds the right side of the 18th fairway with his drive, it is safe and he has a chance to post a real number in the clubhouse.

2220 - Reed's putt on 16 comes up just under 3 feet short.

2222 - Reed holes the putt, and he leads by 1 with 2 holes to play. Another dramatic finish at Doral.

2225 - Reed sets up on 17; He finds sand off the tee.

2226 - Tiger Woods is still struggling on, with a clearly painful back.

2229 - Jamie Donaldson hits a clearly anti-water second shot and is in sand, looking like a certain bogey.

2230 - Reed's second shot finds the green at 17 some forty feet away.

2232 - Donaldson's bunker shot comes up some 12 feet short of the pin. A huge moment. A huge putt ahead for the Welshman, he could be on the verge of securing his place at Gleneagles in the Ryder Cup for Europe.

2234 - Reed two-putts for par and heads to Blue Monster, the 18th, needing a par for victory.

2238 - It's a bogey for Jamie Donaldson, and Reed knows a bogey will win this championship, surely he will play the hole as a par five.

2242 - Reed plays a long iron off the 72nd tee, and fails to reach the fairway, this could be a plan which could back-fire.

2243 - THREE players will finish this championship under par, and when you think how sparse the rough has been this could have been utter carnage.

2247 - A difficult but vital lay up ahead for Reed.

2248 - Reed's lay up is in the perfect position but it is still a very difficult shot to ensure he makes no worse than a bogey here.

2252 - Reed's pitch comes up some 25 feet short, not an easy two-putt from there.

2254 - Reed has a foot between him and world golf glory.

2255 - PATRICK REED WINS THE WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS - CADILLAC CHAMPIONSHIP

That brings coverage of the final round of the year's second WGC to a close. I will be back in two weeks with the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Northern Trust Open Final Round

1815 - Good evening and welcome to coverage of the final round of the 2014 Northern Trust Open, this tournament almost always provides a dramatic Sunday including a six-man play-off back in 2001. With a completely unheralded leader with very little experience this could be a wild finish in Los Angeles.

1819 - The chasing pack are eating up the first few holes at Riviera and Charl Schwartzel and Dustin Johnson are hunting down the leader William McGirt. Jimmy Walker is also on the move with a birdie at the first to move to within 3.

1821 - Jordan Spieth has also birdied the 1st and joins Walker and Schwartzel at -9.

1822 - Lee Westwood has made a slow start, but at -6 he is only 4 behind second place with 14 holes to play as he looks for his first win in 20 months.

1824 - Bubba Watson finds the par five first in two with two outrageous, unusual shots. An eagle would push him into a share of second place.

1830 - Jordan Spieth strikes the flag with his second at the 2nd hole and should move to -10, just as Jason Allred did at the 1st. The chasing pack are moving in on McGirt.

1835 - Spieth misses his birdie chance at the 2nd but right now there are 2 shots covering the 19 players behind McGirt.

1842 - Bae Sang-Moon of Korea makes birdies at 1 and 3 to move into a massive tie for second before Charlie Beljan birdies the first to move to -11; William McGirt birdies the first to regain his two shot advantage.

1848 - A birdie from Spieth at the 3rd move him to -10 and we have a stacked and loaded chasing pack ready to pounce should McGirt stumble; Cameron Tringale moves to -11 with a birdie on the 3rd.

1912 - McGirt bogeys the second and the chasing pack are moving in, 8 players within two shots of the lead.

1915 - Bubba Watson birdies the fourth and he is just one shot back of the leader. Now there are nine players within two shots of the lead. Watson will be desperate to atone for his disastrous finish at the Phoenix Open two weeks ago.

1920 - McGirt is short and left of the long par three fourth hole, struggling to save par.

1923 - Schwartzel birdies 5 and 6 to move into second place, one back of McGirt.

1928 - McGirt plays a superb pitch to 4 feet below the hole and should remain in the lead.

1944 - Bubba Watson holes a bunker shot at the par three sixth to tie the lead, Brian Harman birdies the sixth to make it three in a row and tie the lead at -12.

1946 - We have a three-way tie for the lead and incredibly we have 8 players covered by 1 stroke and 14 within 3.

1957 - Charl Schwartzel birdies the 8th and makes it four players tied for the lead at -12.

2002 - 11 players within 2 of the lead.

2009 - This tournament is wide open, anyone of 10 players could walk away the champion but it could quite easily be a play-off.

2015 - Bubba takes the lead.

2016 - A 16 foot putt gives the 2012 Masters champion a one stroke lead through 8 holes at -13.

2027 - Dustin Johnson plays a magical shot from under a tree at the 10th to set up a birdie chance to move into a tie for second, one back of Watson.

2055 - Dustin Johnson birdies the 11th to reach -12 and the leading three are now Bubba (-13), Schwartzel and Johnson (-12), the cream is rising to the top at Riviera.

2115 - Bubba birdies the par five 11th to extend his lead to two.

2127 - Watson plays a nice pitch from a bad position next to a tree on the par four 12th, he needs a nice putt to save par though. We are in for another incredible finish on the PGA Tour.

2130 - OUTRAGEOUS! Schwartzel holes his bunker shot on the 14th, follows his bogey at 13 with a birdie; Watson pars the 12th and remains 2 ahead of the South African.

2133 - Unbelievable putt from Dustin Johnson sees him go to 15 at -12 tied with Schwartzel and Brian Harman, all relying on Watson finishing like he did at TPC Scottsdale.

2142 - An appalling shot from Watson from the fairway at the 13th, a hideous golf swing says Sky's Mark Roe, are the wheels going to fall off once more?

2146 - Watson plays a nice pitch but will have at least 5 feet to save par.

2147 - Johnson follows a pummelled drive with a delightful iron shot to the 15th, birdie chance.

2148 - Another bunker shot from Schwartzel at 15, has a 20 footer for par coming up.

2149 - Bubba makes par and remains 2 ahead; Schwartzel's putt lips out at 15 and he is now 3 back.

2152 - Dustin bins his putt at the 15th and he is one behind Bubba; memories of the 2010 PGA at Whistling Straits here, will there be a play-off? Will there be a rules infringement?

2153 - Bubba finds the heart of the par three fourteenth.

2154 - Dustin Johnson's tee shot on the par three 16th comes up short in the rough, a thick lie for the big hitter.

2205 - Great up and down from Johnson at 16 and he heads to the par five 17th with a chance to tie Bubba with a birdie or leapfrog him with an eagle.

2206 - Another clutch putt for par from Bubba at 14 and he remains 1 ahead with 4 to play. Is he on the verge of his first win since that epic Masters win in 2012?

2213 - Dustin Johnson pummels his drive up the 17th, in the left rough but an astonishing 331 yards down there with a chance of hitting the green in two.

2215 - Johnson hooks his second shot and hits the hospitality units, in the rough.

2216 - Watson finds the fringe of the 15th green from the fairway bunker.

2219 - Very poor pitch from Johnson at 17 and he has over 50 feet for birdie.

2224 - Yet another par for Bubba, if he pars in, he wins.

2227 - Johnson pars the 17th and needs a birdie at 18 to post -14 in the clubhouse.

2228 - Watson finds the 16th green about 25 feet from the hole.

2234 - Bubba narrowly misses his birdie try at 16, Dustin Johnson has 148 yards for his second on 18.

2236 - Johnson's second comes up short but on the green, he will have over 30 feet for birdie.

2237 - Watson safely up the 17th hole with a 326 yard drive which carried 316 yards in the air!!

2243 - Johnson's putt slides by on the low side and he posts -13 in the clubhouse, relying on Watson repeating his meltdown at Phoenix.

2246 - Bubba finds the sand with his second from 262 yards at 17, up and down for birdie will surely seal the win.

2250 - Bubba's bunker shot flies much further than he had hoped, leaving himself 25 feet downhill for birdie.

2257 - Par for Watson and he heads to the 72nd hole with a one stroke lead.

2300 - Watson finds the fairway with a controlled drive, he has not made a bogey all weekend and unless he miss-hits his second to the last the title is his.

2307 - And that closes the deal! A superb approach leaves the 2012 Masters champion with a ten foot putt for birdie below the hole.

2314 - BOOM! Bubba buries the birdie at the 72nd hole and the winless drought is over for the 2012 Masters champion. A remarkable performance, bogey free in the last 36 holes, two rounds of 64 and a fifth career victory. Emotional scenes at Riviera.

From me it is goodnight and I will be back next weekend and the following two weekends with the WGC's at Dove Mountain and Doral and in between the Honda Classic.
